Our History

November 9, 2020 our beautiful barn burned while we were on a trip visiting our family. When I got the call, I was very upset. Then a friend spoke into my life and said she was excited that she saw this as a beginning and not an ending. I held onto that and trusted God. Well in February of 21 I began to make new friends in the world of recovery from drugs and alcohol.  I saw a need for additional support for those choosing a different life than what they had been living. People that the darkness had tried to devour but were fighting their way out. They needed a place with a sense of community that would offer support in the goals set for themselves. A place that could support a healthy and sustainable lifestyle for extended periods of time.  We then decided that in place of the barn we would build a 4 plex that would offer a sense of protection and community for people leaving the darkness. My heart is committed to seeing the darkness vanquished with the light of hope through Jesus Christ.  The darkness in people’s lives is so overwhelming that I cannot ignore it.
