Our Vision
Recovery is a broad term that can encompass many things. I have recovered from abuse, loss and sickness sprinkled in there was a time of drug and alcohol use that but for the grace of God would have taken my life. What have you recovered from? And who did God use to help you in your time of need? We all need support and encouragement in the darkness that comes to all of us.
The goal of beauty for Ashes Alaska is to bring continued hope to those in the darkest places by providing a physical place of safety and comfort while they grow and become who God has called them to be. That could be going to school, getting a job that moves into a career or starting a business.
Beauty for Ashes Alaska will give a sense of community and support so that no one will feel alone and will be able to continue the journey out of the darkness in a place of protection.
When I think of all the people that have supported me in my life, I know that we must do the same for others. Now is the time to do for others what has been done for us.
